My newest book with Loose Id, Give Yourself to Me comes out on August 31st. It's the third and last one in the Off Like a Prom Dress series which started in June 2010. The first one, Raine's Blues was written by Sharon Cullars. The second story, Let's Do it Again was written by Roslyn Hardy Holcomb. Both are still available for purchase at Loose Id if you're interested. I'm biased, of course, but I think if you like well-written and passion and humor filled stories, then you won't want to miss any of these three! In other news, Roslyn Hardy Holcomb and I have a new book coming out in November! Called Stolen, it's the sequel to Given and it follows Grace Adams, a frustrated free black woman in 1850's Ohio who wants so much out of life: to become a doctor, to work on the Underground Railroad (UR) and to not be attracted to one Dr.Parker Quinn, an irascible veterinarian who is one of the few white people in the area who is willing to help on the Underground Railroad. His one condition? Not to have to work with women, who he feels are much too delicate and emotional to be of any help.

He's the only reason her father considers not letting her help, and Grace is furious, even going so far to dress as a boy in order to do what she wants. It's when he finds her bloody and wounded after a botched UR run that things come to a head. Dr. Quinn has so much to learn after that, the least of which is Grace's ability to turn into any animal she desires at will.
